Sleek and serious. This blade has more features than Batman's utility belt. If it's preparing the campsite or preparing dinner or popping the top off a couple of cold beers or a bottle of prosecco, this knife is all you need.
We opted for a clean, polished finished steel that we have recently fallen in love with. Sandvick 12C27N from Sweden heat treated to 58-59 HRC. This knife will cop a hammering when used in the bush the way it is designed to. This steel is hard enough to stand up and retain the edge but if it does dull (every knife will one day), 12C27N is super easy to sharpen if you have a little sharpening experience or even none at all.
We opted for beautiful olive wood for the handle. We used TORX screws to fix the scales to the tang on this occasion as we thought the handle might also cop a beating when you're in the wild so the handles can be replaced. Another small feature we added to this is a blue liner to make the handle pop a little more. I'd love to say this has a function but it does not, we did it simply because we think it looks cool :)
